Canale Monterano. Aqueduct "Devil's Bridge"

A small valley in the woods near the Canale Monterano is crossed by an impressive aqueduct in two rows of arches, in the area next to the imposing remains of “the ghost town”.

According to a popular legend, this majestic aqueduct was the work of the devil and this is why it is called "the Devil's Bridge."
