Poggio Catino. Baths of Sulla

This area of Poggio Catino was chosen by the Romans for their country villas.

You can see the remains of one of these villas and recognize a thermal plant: a reticulated walls of the III century BC, side slits, the remains of a small building with the probable function of dressing, the remains of an underground aqueduct and cistern of San Silvestro.

It was not known what the name was for the thermal baths in the time of Sulla.
