Ardea. Casarinaccio Archaeological Area

In the Casarinaccio Archaeological Area in Ardea the remains of a temple dedicated to Venus dating from the sixth century BC has been brought to light.

On the podium of the sanctuary are visible three rows of tufa blocks resting directly on the rock.
