Ardea. Castrum Inui

At the mouth of the Incastro river a well-organized urban settlement was unearthed has a water system with large tanks, spas, multi-storey buildings with murals and elegant mosaics composed both of large and very small tiles.

The oldest parts are technologically more sophisticated and are characterized by monumental structures made of large limestone blocks.

The most recent areas had been realized by reusing the existing material.

This is a very extensive sacred area dated between VI century BC and the second century AD.
