Lenola. The Medieval Village of Acquaviva

On a summit of the Ausoni Mountains near the town of Lenola, in an environment characterized by ‘karst phenomena’, are the ruins of the medieval fortified village of Acquaviva surrounded by greenery.

Today little remains of the castle and the whole area is part of a natural monument inside the Ausoni Mountains park.
