Collevecchio. Necropolis of Poggio Sommavilla

In a village of Collevecchio an interesting Sabino-Tiberina necropolis it was discovered, whose artifacts are found on display in many museums around the world.

The necropolis was used from the X century BC to the Roman period and to date has brought to light about fifty graves.

Here was found a famous flask with an inscription which is considered the oldest example of Sabine writing.
