    The structure of the old village of Poggio Bustone is reminiscent of the classic medieval towns.

    Note both the Gothic arched gate (known as "Good Day") that is the ancient gateway to the town and the pentagonal tower of the gatehouse. This was part of the original castle around which was formed Poggio Bustone.
