Belmonte in Sabina. Roman bridge

The roman bridge is located tin Belmonte in Sabina along the Via Salaria and dates back to the first century AD.

The road had to overcome a dry river in the summer but one that was rushing in the rainy season and the bridge is made of large limestone boulders typical of the area.
