The ruins of the Rovianello castle are located in Roviano and tell a very interesting story.
The Rubianelli Castrum is first mentioned in 967 ( "house lower Oianum") and was destroyed towards the end of the century XVI by Muzio Colonna with the support of Pope Sixtus V.
The official reason was the presence of brigands, the real one, however, was the rebellion of the population to their abuses of the ladies.
