Borgorose. Sacred Area of St. Erasmus

In Corvaro Plain a Borgorose were found the remains of a platform related to a temple in the so-called Sacred Area of St. Erasmus.

This name comes from a small building, now destroyed, dedicated to this Christian saint.

In the vicinity of the platform were discovered quadrangular votive masks and Roman and Greek coins from which it was deduced that the shrine dates from the 3rd century BC.
