Santopadre. Medieval Cylindrical Tower

The tower is located at the highest point of the town of Santopadre and has many embrasures and a slightly truncated conical base.

Originally it was higher and it is now 13 meters and with a circumference of 16. In the foreground you can see the remains of a fireplace.

You could only get up the tower by escalators to a door placed at a height of over 6 meters.

At the base there was a subterranean cistern fed by a terracotta duct.
