Labico. The Castle of Lugnano

The Lugnano castle in Labico dates from the thirteenth century, and today two towers, embedded in the walls of the fort, are visible.

The castle was located along the road that led to Campania and the route of seasonal cattle transfer from thei Prenestini mountains towards the sea, called "Way to Coram."
