Paganico Sabino. The Inscribed Stone Muttini tomb

The Pietra Scritta - Inscribed Stone is a sepulchral monument of the Roman Muttini family dating back to the 1st century BC which is located in the territory of Paganico Sabino.

The inscription consists of three rows and, due to atmospheric agents, it is partly worn away.

The sepulcher was obtained from a boulder that broke away from the rock wall and which was then modeled.

It has an almost quadrangular plan and truncated pyramid shape. Under the base a cavity had been formed.
