Vico nel Lazio. Historical Centre

The village of Vico nel Lazio was born on a small hill and preserves all its characteristic beauty as it looks like a traditional medieval centre surrounded by walls and towers.

Access to the town is still via the gates and the presence of cars is virtually non-existent.

Inside the walls are also the two main churches, Santa Maria and Saint Michael Archangel, the town hall and the museum.

All the buildings of the centre have decorations made of local limestone.

The village is alive and you can meet children playing in the street according to the best Italian tradition.
