Marino. Villa Colonna Bevilacqua in Castagnano

Villa Colonna Bevilacqua in Castagnano in Marino is built in the early 1600s, it was the summer residence of the Colonna family until the 1700s.

It was at a scenic spot and had been enriched by an ancient sculpture garden.

The building was destroyed during the Second World War and what remains is the core with elliptical staircase, the attached nymphaeum with the internal driveway and the grove of oaks.
