The church of Santa Vittoria Virgin and Martyr is located in the center of Anticoli Corrado right next to the ancient castle which is now the baronial palace.
Not much is known about its history, but given its location it is assumed that the construction is medieval and somehow connected with the life of the castle.
Its appearance and soft Baroque forms of the facade date back to the expansion at the end of the sixteenth century. While the last architectural expansion dates back to the mid-nineteenth century.
The facade is in simple plaster with three entrances in correspondence with the naves and a single opening in correspondence with the central door. Above the door on the right is a clock.
The interior of the church is white with the central nave covered by a barrel vault and ends with the altar area which has a cross vault instead. The baroque altar stands out and gives a note of color to the church while above the entrance you can admire the choir loft.
The bell tower is located at the rear of the church.
