Arce. Church of St. Augustine

The medieval church of St. Augustine and of St. Anthony,  in pre-Romanesque style,

It has been restored several times over the centuries.

The portal is original and dates back to 1200s.

In the church are buried two of the fifteenth and sixteenth century characters: the ‘warlord’ and the governor of Arce, Isidoro Vasquez, and Bartholomew y Alarco that had the rule of the duchies of Arce and Sora.
