Campodimele. Church of Saint Archangel Michael

The church of Saint Archangel Michael (San Michele Arcangelo) was built in the eleventh century on a pagan temple.

It is located in the historic centre of Campodimele, at the highest point of thearea, and can be reached only on foot.

Inside you can see a special fifteenth century shrine in marble and a painting by Gabriel da Feltre from the end of the sixteenth century.
