Tuscania. Church of the Madonna dell'Olivo

The church of the Madonna dell'Olivo in Tuscania is a fine example of Renaissance architecture with a rectangular façade with a lunette decorated with plant motifs.

The interior is quite bare but it has the entrance of the important Etruscan necropolis of Olive Madonna with the famous Tomb of the Queen.

In this church, on the Tuesday following the Easter Monday, Mass is celebrated, which was once an extension of the Easter celebrations.
