St. Andrew's church was built in the sixteenth century in Cottanello.
It was rebuilt in the nineteenth century after the devastating fire of 1799 by the Napoleonic troops.
The works of reconstructions changed the outer aspect of the church while, of the old building, the side entrance and a Romanesque window in the belltower remain intact.
The existing frescoes were made by Gaetano Pasquarelli between 1933 and 1940.
