Vetralla. Church of Saint Francis

The Romanesque church of Saint Francis is the oldest in the town of Vetralla.

It was built in the twelfth century on a previous construction of the seventh century that is visible in the beautiful crypt completely dug out of tufa.

The interior has three naves, and the church has a cosmatesco floor and frescoes.
