Tessennano. Church of San Felice

Tessennano. Church of San Felice

The church of San Felice was built in the nineteenth century in the neoclassical style in Tessennano.

It has an original octagonal plan and a large porch on the facade consisting of six columns surmounted by a pediment that clearly recalls the Pantheon.

Inside the building is an important cycle of paintings by Angelo Campanella: five altarpieces representing Purgatory, the Martyrdom of Saints Felice and Child, Our Lady of the Rosary with Saints Dominic and Catherine, the Adoration of the Magi, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
