Montebuono. Church of Santa Maria Assunta

The second church dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta is located in the historic center of Montebuono.

It was built in 1650 on a pre-existing late-Romanesque building.

It has a single nave with four side altars and contains several important paintings and a statue of the Virgin, which dates back to about 1600, located at the foot of the altar.
