The church of Santa Maria della Presentazione was built in the fifteenth century in Vignanello.
Then it was rebuilt in 1723 on the occasion of the jubilee year of 1725, at the behest of Francesco Maria Ruspoli.
The new project was entrusted to the architect Giovan Battista Contini and the church was consecrated in 1725 by Pope Benedict XIII.
The facade features two rows of decorations and the interior has a single nave covered with a barrel vault.
In the apse is a valuable Glory of Angels in gilded baroque stucco, which contains a Madonna and Child by Annibale Carracci.
Inside you will find a table of 1495 by Giovan Francesco D'Avanzarano, called ‘il Fantastico’, representing on one side the Madonna and on the other a Christ sitting on clouds.
The church had a fine eighteenth-century case organ.
