The church of Santa Maria di Loreto was built in 1938 and was part of the initial core of Guidonia Montecelio.
Its location, on top of a hill, has been chosen to develop the city around it.
The church has a single nave and apse you can admire a painting of the Madonna and Child.
She is the patroness of aviators with an aircraft in flight painted on the right as one of the first Italian airports had been built in Guidonia Montecelio.
