Soriano nel Cimino. Church of St. Augustine or the Holy Trinity

The church of St. Augustine or the Holy Trinity was built in the eighteenth century in Soriano nel Cimino.

Inside you can admire the magnificent ceiling frescoed with the Apotheosis of Saint Augustine by a student of Corrado Giaquinto, Polish artist Taddeo Kuntz.

Taddeo Kuntz also designed the altar cloth and that in the left transept.

In the church there is also a fifteenth century 'Enthroned Madonna and Child' of the Sienese school.
