Borgo Velino. Church of St. Matthew the Apostle

In the historical centre of Borgo Velino, there is the eighteenth-century church built in honour of St. Matthew the Apostle.

The unpretentious appearance of the exterior contrasts with the magnificence of the decorations inside.

The church has a central plan, a united nave, with a polychrome floor in hexagonal tiles.

The nave has side chapels and a large decorated dome above the main altar.
