Fara in Sabina. Collegiate Church of St. Anthony Martyr

The Collegiate Church, or Cathedral f St. Anthony Martyr of Fara in Sabina, dates from the sixteenth century based on a previous church of the thirteenth century.

Its construction was restless, and over the centuries it has undergone several changes.

The external facade is neoclassical and the interior is a combination of styles ranging from Baroque to neoclassical.

Numerous paintings and works of art are preserved and in a chapel you can admire a wooden statue of St. Anthony.

Next to the church is an imposing bell tower still in operation.
