The ruins of the monastery of San Salvatore di Mileto in Roccasecca dei Volsci are situated on the slopes of Mount Alto at an altitude of 823 m.
Perhaps it was the work of the Benedictines monks.
It is mentioned for the first time in a deed of 9 December 1027 but it had already suffered a tormented life.
In 1224, in a letter of Pope Honorius III, it was clearly in decline.
