Castelnuovo di Porto. San Sebastian Church

The church of San Sebastiano in Castelnuovo di Porto dates from the thirteenth century.

It had been erected to protect the populace from the scourge of the plague.

The interior consists of one room with a frescoed apse.

In the frescoes can be recognized St. Rocco, St. Sebastian, St. Anthony of Padua and, in the background, the same Castelnuovo di Porto with its fortress.

In Castelnuovo di Porto design you can recognize the same church with a small bell at his side.
