Roccagorga. Chapel of Madonna of the Roses

This chapel of Madonna of the Roses dates back to 500 and is dedicated to Our Lady of Grace, which gave its name to the area called "Borgo Madonna" of Roccagorga.

It was once a stopping place for locals who lived in the countryside.

On the altar there is a beautiful painting of the "Madonna and Child" donated in 1875 by Johann Francz Heinirich Nadorp.

In this chapel there was the 'Miracle of the Roses' when to San Claudia from Anagni, who preached on the Lepini Mountains, and her spiritual father suddenly bouquets of roses appeared on the altar.
