Genzano di Roma. Castelli Romani Park

Genzano di Roma is part of the Castelli Romani park which includes 15 municipalities arranged on the crater of an old volcanic system.

The area presents a unique mix of history, art and nature with two volcanic lakes and many woods.

Very important during the Roman period it had its splendor from the Renaissance.

The cool climate, the lake waters, the fertile fields and the proximity to Rome have made it a holiday destination for popes and noble families.

During the weekend it is one of the favorite destinations of the Romans who combine nature and the lunches of the famous 'trips out of town'.
