The park of Oriolo Romano takes its name from the old mill built in 1573 by Giorgio Santacroce, and that was used for the milling of flour from wheat.
The mill uses the waters of the river Mignone and it is called the Centenarian from the name of the channel that brings water.
The pond under the waterfall is impressive and surrounded by tables for dining, and has two small shallow pools that collect the waters of the nearby sulphurous thermal springs.
