Camerata Nuova. Monti Simbruini Regional Park

Camerata Nuova is part of the Monti Simbruini Regional Park, the largest park in the Lazio Region and on the border with Abruzzo.

The name Simbruini comes from the Latin 'sub imbribus' (under the rain) to emphasize the main characteristic of the area: water. In this park they built four aqueducts that supplied the city Rome.

The park is famous for the variety of its fauna and flora.
