Torrita Tiberina. Nature Reserve of Nazzano, Tevere (Tiber)-Farfa

Lake Nazzano was formed in 1953 as a result of a dam across the Tiber River, downstream of the confluence with the stream Farfa, it did raise the water level.

This new situation has proved an ideal habitat for a large number of species of birds during their migrations and a magical place for lovers of birds and nature.
