Lenola. Regional Nature Park of Ausoni and Lake Fondi

The Regional Nature Park of Ausoni and Lake Fondi in Lenola preserves some of the typical habitats of the Mediterranean, the rocky mountains that reach the sea and the area of ​​Lake Fondi.

It is a very long lake, about 30 km, with some swampy areas that remain for the many migratory birds.

The Monti Aurunci Natural Park covers 10 municipalities, including Lenola, straddling the provinces of Latina and Frosinone in the area where the ancient Aurunci population settled around 1000 BC.
