Monteflavio. The Regional Park of Monti Lucretili

The Regional Park of Monti Lucretili covers the area north east of Rome, where the Apennines begin to degrade towards the plain, and includes 13 municipalities.

The area provides equipment for all those who wish to get closer to nature by doing sports and hiking. Here you can go hiking in the beautiful beech woods where you can still see foxes and wolves. The highest peaks are Mount Pellecchia (1368 m) and Mount Gennaro (1271 m).
