The Oasis of the Ernici Mountains of Vico del Lazio is immersed in the lush vegetation at the foot of the Monna and Rotonaria mountains.
It is one of the intermediate points of the Cai Trail (n.9) that reaches the peaks of the two mountains.
Within the Oasis, among the main activities carried out, there is the repopulation of ungulates, to date mainly roe deer and goats.
There is also a farm, with many animal species, a destination for family visits and school excursions.
Young students are involved in activities such as cheese production, homemade bread, fettuccine and garden care.
The Oasis is also a small tourist resort where you can stay in a tent or picnic and BBQ enjoying the peace that only the untouched forest and nature can give.
The oasis is about 4 km from the historic centre of Vico nel Lazio and has an area of approximately 11 hectares.
