Ciampino Airport

Ciampino airport area lies partly in Rome and partly in Ciampino and is divided into a military and a civil section. Here are 'Regional Center for Flight Assistance' (CRAV) and the National Agency for Air Navigation Services (ENAV).

The civil airport has over 5.8 million domestic and international passengers and is the main hub for low cost companies.

Ciampino Airport is also the main base of the fire-fighting aircraft fleet and the military section hosts the 31st Wing and the 2nd Engineers Department the Air Force.
