Ferentino. Thermal Baths of Pompeo

Ferentino. Thermal Baths of Pompeo

The properties of Ferentino waters were known since the Romans.

The area is rich in thermal springs like Olente Fontana, the Fonte Strofino, the Sorgente Bagnatoio, the Bicipite and the Fonte Bagnatoio.

The Thermal Baths and spa of Pompeo have been officially operating since 1854 for the use of hypothermal sulphurous water springs (around 18 degrees) with trace bicarbonate and calcium ions.

Its chemical and physical composition makes it particularly suitable for the treatment of diseases related to the respiratory, circulatory and hepatobiliary (relating to bile).
