Riano. Taddeide

The ecumenical town of Taddeide is housed in a convent built in 1592 by the Capuchin Friars in Riano.

The convent was founded on a hill as a place of prayer: here St. Francis made his final ‘pit stop’ when he went from Assisi to Rome to meet the pope.
