Civitavecchia. The Madonna of Civitavecchia

In Civitavecchia from 1995 a phenomen occurred that is unexplained, maybe a miracle, which even attracted the attention of the Holy Father.

On February 2, the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple and the Purification of Mary, a small statue of the Madonna, the Queen of Peace from Medjugorje, began to weep blood.

The statue was in the garden of a family in the parish of St. Augustine. Since then it has wept on 14 other times, in the presence of many people who have released their sworn testimony before the Theological Commission set up by the Bishop.

The statuette has been scientifically examined and there were no tricks or hidden devices. The tears were human blood. The Parish of St. Augustine is now the object of pilgrimage.
