Borgorose is part of the Nature Reserve of the Duchess Mountains which includes a mountainous terrain, wild and rugged, dominated by Mounts Morrone and Murolungo.
In the reserve there are many archaeological remains, vestiges of the necropolis, Roman villas and medieval structures.
