The Civic Museum of Lanuvio is divided into three sections representing the three major phases of the history of Lanuvio: the pre-Roman and Roman section, the epigraphic (of inscriptions) section and the medieval section.
In the first section there are many relics of the villas in the area and votive material from the sanctuary of Juno Sospita.
The inscriptions in the second section are from the fourth to the second century BC and are on various substrates: from the inclusion of a frieze to a fine stamp on a tile to an inscription on aqueduct pipelines.
Among the most significant finds there was an Augustan age fresco with Dionysian scenes and a marble parapet depicting a Griffin from the Antonine dynasty.
