Acquapendente. Julia Tower

The Acquapendente medieval walls were destroyed during the expansion phases of the city.

The testimony of the existence of the wall is Julia Tower, one of the main towers, which today is used as an information center.

Its name comes from that of a girl, who on January 18, 1550, managed to block the entrance to the enemy soldiers.
