Aquino. Romana Gate called Capuana Gate

The Romana gate is the best preserved structure of the ancient Roman city of Aquino.

It is called Capuana gate (the same name as the gate in Naples), because the road leads to Capua, and then to Brindisi along the Appian Way. The gate dates from the first century BC.
