Arpino. Roman Eagle Fountain

Arpino. Roman Eagle Fountain

The Roman Eagle Fountain of Arpino dates back to the seventeenth century.

It is located between the two roads leading to Civita Falconara.

On a marble bath carved in a baroque manner stand two square towers.

The eagle spreads its wings resting a leg on each tower.

This portrays the emblem of Arpino.
