Bagnoregio. Cybo Gualterio Palace

In Bagnoregio, Palazzo Cybo was built in 1559 by the famous Genoese family Cybo.

Giovanni Battista Cybo was elected pope under the name of Innocenzo VIII in 1484 until 1492.

After passing through several owners, in 1801 it entered the possessions of the Gualterio family.

Filippo Antonio Gualterio was an exponent of the Italian Risorgimento and a Minister of the Kingdom of Italy.

In the private chapel of the palace there are some precious relics of San Filippo Neri.
