Piazza San Rocco in Bolsena is closed on one side by Cozza Crispo Palace (now Del Drago Palace).
It embraces the Fountain of San Rocco and takes its name from the abbot Cozza of the Abbey of Santa Maria di Grottaferrata who had lived there.
The palace has two parts, the Cozza and the Caposavi.
Its construction dates back to the sixteenth century by the architects Simone Mosca and Raffaello da Montelupo.
The palace was then redesigned in the eighteenth century by the architect Domenici.
Inside there are interesting frescoes in Mannerist style both in the entrance hall and adjacent rooms and in the main floor.
The palace has gardens and terraces overlooking the lake.
It is a private residence that can be visited.
