Morlupo. Borghese Palace

The Borghese palace in Morlupo was built in the early seventeenth century by the Mattei family and acquired by the Borghese only in 1624.

A simple and linear construction, and with few external decorations, it is in the city centre.

It has become part of the urban social life because of its location so it often served for public functions.

In the nineteenth century it was the seat of the municipality and today is private and hosts exhibitions and events.
